It’s the length of time involved, the emotional and psychological commitment and the depth of direct involvement as well as ‘belief’ in the group and what it stands for and represents that is important not the size of its membership.
Just as a quick re-cap . . . so far in this section I’ve described how there are plenty of subtle energetic none objectively observable means used to bind and hold people to groups.
I do also make it clear that this is done to all members of ALL groups and that the more time spent with a group, the deeper the involvement with it the more commitment made to it then the greater the build up of energetic ties and bindings and the harder it is to even contemplate leaving never mind trying or succeeding in doing this.
Particularly when the association is long-term and is or was strong.
Well, apart from all those build ups of subtle energetic management and binding crap making it difficult to leave if you do leave then some groups have energetic crap that acts in the following ways if you manage to do this . . .
Have you been told that?
Have you ever been involved in ‘something’ to have someone ‘confide’ in you that ‘bad things will happen / will probably happen’ if you leave?
I have . . .
I had this said to myself (as I describe later in this series in more detail) when I spent time involved in an ‘enlightenment’ path. It was even mentioned that ‘others’ whom HAD already left had experienced ‘bad things happening’ . . .
Unfortunately just this being stated somewhat helped confirm my thinking about leaving and in fact had me feeling even better about leaving . . . so I left . . .
It wasn’t until about 20 years later that I started to really understand the reality of the ‘bad things’ will happen statement and attitude.
A few years ago someone who dared to start working with myself stumbled and fell down the stairs a few months later. As she was used to regularly walking along cliff tops and wasn’t known for having mishaps then we started to check if anything ‘mysterious’ was responsible for this event . . .
To find that there was . . .
She actually had some subtle energetic technologies in her energy field put there by a past group. One of the functions of this subtle technology was to help ‘persuade’ people whom had made the dreadful decision to leave that they’d not stay ‘left’ for long by influencing them, their thinking and feelings in ‘whatever is necessary’ ways that would have them ‘realize’ that it would be a jolly good idea to return to the group fold . . .
And if that didn’t work or worse the ‘leaveee’ actually starts to ‘think’ or say things ‘shock horror’ against what they’d been involved in then this tech had a built-in ‘F**# Yu’ mode that would attempt to cause problems and sabotages in the ‘leaveees’ life . . . it turned out that it was actually this groups subtle energetic technologies that were actually responsible for her falling down the stairs and breaking her ankle . . .
As I’ve pointed out elsewhere YOU might have left ‘something’ but it’s highly unlikely that this ‘something’ will respect your decision and ‘openly and completely’ leave you alone and free to live without anything of this past ‘something’ attempting to influence you.
Hey ‘new member’ type person . . . welcome to our group . . . we are very loving and compassionate and so on . . . blah’di, blah . . . and we’re going to support you and help you in all ways to become seriously involved in our ‘amazing and profound’ group . . . so, while we’re having our little introductory welcoming ceremony (initiation or ritual or cup of tea . . . ) . . . we’ll be (unknown to you) slipping some subtle energetic technology into your energy field that will ‘help’ you integrate and be happy with our open, loving and spiritually and ideologically advanced group . . . well, at least our subtle technologies are advanced enough to make you feel and think that we are . . . (we hope) . . .
. . . you’ll be amazed at how supportive and amazing you’re made to think our little group is and how well your life flows and gradually becomes ‘trouble’ free, joyful and harmonious (also courtesy of SE technologies) . . . BUT because there is always the slight risk that our little groups hidden subtle energetic junk may not quite make you appreciative enough of how good our little group actually REALLY IS then we’ve made every effort to guarantee that you WILL APPRECIATE how good it was if you leave or worse if you leave AND dare say anything against our amazingly loving, compassionate, profoundness or reveal any of our secret rituals or divine knowledge (how we make the tea) or the intimate details of our leaders sacred sexual karmic clearing methods . . .
As a result of these profound group; ‘party’, religion or ’cause’ attitudes about 10% of all types of ‘groups’ gift all of their members with subtle energetic crap that will ‘kick in’ if they ever dare make the dreadful mistake of leaving to manifest at the very least ‘interesting times’ all the way through to some very profound ‘being kicked in the head’ experiences . . . aka . . . they make sure that . . .
Which all goes to show that you can have profound experiences while with some groups BUT sometimes even more profound experiences afterwards . . .
The profoundest of the profound experience is actually understanding that ALL groups are managing and attempting to control their members in hidden ways using subtle energetic means . . . in this respect they are all betrayers of their followers . . .
