The bottom line in a basic sense ‘attraction’ sense is this; None are better, they are only different.

The best will be the one whose work is more focused on resolving the area that you need to explore. Some practitioners are more successful at resolving physical problems, others emotional and so on, few if any can cover everything (Although many think that they do).
The most important factor is the integrity of the practitioner. For example; if I cannot resolve someone’s challenge within two 90 minute sessions then either I recommend someone else or another approach entirely or for problems that are moving but deep seated then in the past I’d recommend an initiation and training in self healing so that they can work to resolve the issue themselves with some support via phone if needed. As my focus includes self responsibility then I don’t feel that it is empowering to have someone dependent on me to resolve their challenges.
For some cases I can be very positive and for others I can save them wasting their time and money by pointing then in a different direction if their challenge is not within what my focus encompasses. However this is just me. People often seem to expect guarantees from those working in the alternative health sector. We would have to ask – when was the last time your doctor gave a guarantee and when was the last time that you asked he or she for one?
There are as many approaches as their are healers and energy workers. If you have a good look at our site then you will have a good idea of what this approach deals with well – negative life patterns, traumas, issues and so on and from this what this approach is not so good at resolving?
You should find a practitioner that has success and is effective in the areas that you want resolved. For example if you have a very definite physical complaint (damaged your knee for example) then don’t come to us, as this is not our area of focus. There is much said about going to someone with certain qualifications or who is affiliated with a certain practitioner association. Although I have trained in a number of different healing systems none of these relate in any way whatsoever to what I am capable of or the way that I work NOW. In fact I am only capable of what I can do now because I left them all behind a long, long time ago.
You should also note that there are probably well over 100 different energy healing systems being offered, some have very different approaches and all span a huge range with regards their capabilities.
You should understand that even within a named system there will probably be a large variation with regards practitioner competence, experience and success.
Many systems and often healers should be looked at and seen as being independent from each other.
Well again practically anything. It depends on the aims of the practitioner their approach in working with a client, their abilities, energy connections and so on. Some energies are very gentle and more relaxing while others are more focused on getting to the root cause.
I have experienced energy systems that are very effective in that I leave with my symptoms gone but after a few hours or days they return. A closer examination of these energies found that their focus was to bury what was causing the problem rather than bring it out (people working with these types of energies want to see their clients feeling good when they leave rather than being presented with what they have to face to move on).
Because they are OFTEN not the same . . . .
Burying it is great for those people who for example don’t have the time, are who are not ready to face what is deep within themselves.
People will also select out types of healer to see or avoid based on their strong beliefs about how healing works. I have see some people go from therapy to therapy with 100% success at picking only what wont work for them, on some level part of them knows that they will have to face a part of themselves that they won’t like to resolve their issue or challenge. Yes, for energies that bring things out so it can cause temporary physical, emotional, mental and or spiritual imbalance. This for some people is for example not what they expect or want or believe that healing should be.
